National Showcaves Centre for Wales

Attraction | Swansea | Wales | Royaume Uni

Always a great day out. We visited at Christmas time and it never fails to amaze me. The attention to detail and the santa was wonderful, he had time to listen and engage with the children. I highly recommend visiting with your little ones. We had a magical time and I can't wait for this year

Thoroughly enjoyed our day out to see santa today 😁 we had booked to see santa at 3pm but we're able to go into the park much earlier to enjoy the other attractions. We first stopped at the cafe, and even though it was busy we were able to get a table very easily. Food didn't take too long to come out and it was very nice. We hadn't visited for quite a few years and this was our first time going with our own children, and we really enjoyed the updates made since our last visit. My son particularly enjoyed the new dinosaur trail and his face lit up with every new dinosaur he seen. The santa was amazing. Even though we were some of the last people he seen, he still greeted us with a lot of enthusiasm and took time to talk to the children and allow us time to take pictures. Couldn't fault any of the staff either! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, really good team of people working there! Thank you for such a lovely day out!

Great way of mixing fun with a great amount of learning. Love the detailing put into organising the dinosaurs and as well as information laid out for people interested in caves

Enjoyable visit, but there were still some odd references to COVID-19 apparent when entering some of the caves. Would have been slightly more enjoyable if there wasn't a "timetable" directing you around and letting you visit caves at your leisure. The cafe was also quite small and can't cope with the number of visitors on a wet Monday in half term, so we went to a nearby country park cafe for our lunch instead which was a much better experience.

We had a beautiful experience at the National Showcaves Park today . The tour started with a walk among dinosaurs ,continued to a visit to one of the caves . There are 3 different caves relatively close to each other. The dinosaur Park is beautiful with so many different species of dinosaurs and a museum. The little train takes you to the Morgan Family farm where you can see the sheep , goats and Shire horses. The children have 2 play areas to choose from according to their age. Overall a great time out with the family.

Brilliant day out. Lots to see. Four starts as some attractions closed at 2pm without much notice or explanation - it was half term, so not even the off season. The website does not explain this either. We ended up needing to rush one of the caves which was a shame. Lots of video displays - great. However many did not have subtitles so aren't accessible.

Very nice place for children and adults. Interesting caves and small waterfalls. Lots of dinosaurs outside. On site you can eat and drink something. Worth the price.

Turns out you can't get into the caves at two fifteen on a Saturday afternoon. Bizarre
